• May to September 2003: Phase I First implementation of the main components and use of the toolkit in example applications
• October 2004: Beginning of Phase II
• The CADDLab at UNC joined the project and contributed SpatialObjects and the RF Ablation application
• 2005: Atamai Inc. joined the project and contributed the Tracker code
• January 2006: IGSTK Iteration 7 Released to the public
• February 2006: Presentation and Demo at SPIE Medical Imaging (San Diego, USA)
• January 2007: IGSTK datasets are available on MIDAS
• February 2007: IGSTK the book is available
• March 2007: IGSTK 2.0 released
• November 2007: IGSTK STTR Phase III has been funded by NIBIB/NIH grant R01 EB00719 (Zohara Cohen, PhD)
• February 2008: IGSTK 3.0 released
• February 2008: Presentation and Demo at SPIE Medical Imaging (San Diego, USA)
